About TrogirBoat
TrogirBoat is a private boat charter service based in Trogir, Croatia. We offer fully private day tours on the Adriatic Sea aboard our Finnmaster T9 ST, one of the finest day cruisers on the market. The boat, the skipper, and the day belong entirely to your group.
We believe the best way to experience the Dalmatian coast is privately and at your own pace: no shared tours, no strangers, no fixed stops you did not choose. Our professional, local skippers know every bay, every cove, and every good restaurant on the islands, and they are happy to share that knowledge with you.
TrogirBoat is operated by Aetas Aurea d.o.o., a registered Croatian company based in Split. Our skippers are licensed by the Croatian Maritime Authority and carry full professional liability insurance.
Our Skippers
Every tour is led by a professional, English-speaking skipper drawn from our pool of certified Dalmatian maritime professionals. Each skipper holds a Croatian boating licence (VK licence), carries professional insurance, and has deep personal knowledge of the islands, anchorages, and restaurants of the Split-Dalmatia region.
Your skipper is not just responsible for navigation. They are your local guide, your safety officer, and often the person who finds the hidden bay that becomes the highlight of your holiday. Tips are not included in the price but are always appreciated.
Questions & Answers
The price is per boat, not per person. We offer two rates for every tour: a Non-Refundable Rate (best price, no cancellation) and a Flexible Rate (slightly higher, with free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure). Full-day tours start at €1,100 (non-refundable) or €1,350 (flexible). The Sunset Tour starts at €550 or €700. This makes private tours very competitive, especially for groups: a group of 10 on the Blue Lagoon tour pays just €110 per person at the non-refundable rate.
Fuel is not included and is charged separately. The fuel cost is approximately €150–200 for all guests, depending on the route and conditions. We are transparent about this cost from the start. Your skipper will inform you of the exact amount at the end of the day based on actual consumption. This covers the full day on the water regardless of the number of guests.
Your cancellation rights depend on the rate you choose at booking:
Non-Refundable Rate: No cancellation. If you do not attend, the full tour price is due. This rate offers the lowest price for guests with confirmed plans.
Flexible Rate: You may cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before departure. Only the flexibility surcharge (€250 for full-day tours, €150 for the Sunset Tour) is retained. The base tour price is refunded within 7 business days. Cancellations less than 24 hours before departure or no-shows are charged the full flexible rate.
If TrogirBoat cancels the tour for any reason, you always receive a full refund of the amount paid. In the event of poor weather, we contact you the evening before and offer a free reschedule or a full refund. For full details, see our Terms & Conditions.
Yes, last-minute bookings are welcome and subject to availability. Both non-refundable and flexible rates are available. Please note that if you choose the flexible rate for a same-day or next-day booking, the 24-hour cancellation window may already have passed, meaning no refund is possible. Contact us directly by phone or WhatsApp for same-day or next-day bookings.
A refundable security deposit of €500 is required at check-in on the day of the tour. This can be paid by credit card or cash. The deposit is held as a precaution against accidental damage and is returned in full at the end of the tour. Our hull insurance covers all accidental damage above the deposit amount.
After you send your booking request, we reply with a secure Stripe payment link by email. Your reservation is confirmed once payment is completed. You can pay by credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna, or SEPA transfer. We offer three rates: Non-Refundable (best price, no cancellation), Flexible (free cancellation up to 24 h before departure), and Cash On-Site (small deposit via Stripe, rest in cash on tour day). Fuel is not included and is charged separately based on actual consumption.
Absolutely. We encourage you to bring your own food, drinks, and snacks. The boat has a cooler box that keeps things cold throughout the day. You are also welcome to stop at island restaurants. Your skipper will happily make recommendations and reservations.
All tours depart from Marina Trogir (GPS: 43.5178° N, 16.2513° E) or the Matejuška pier in Split. Please confirm your preferred departure point when booking. Your skipper will send exact meeting instructions by WhatsApp the evening before your tour.
We recommend: swimsuit, beach towel, sunscreen (SPF 50+), sunhat and sunglasses, comfortable beach shoes or sandals, a light layer for the evening (sunset tours), and your phone/camera. You are welcome to bring your own food, drinks, and snacks. The boat has a refrigerator and drawer cooler to keep everything chilled.
Your safety is our absolute priority. If weather conditions make a tour unsafe, we will contact you the evening before to either reschedule free of charge or offer a full refund. If conditions change during the tour, your skipper has the authority to adjust the route to ensure safety and comfort, for example by visiting sheltered bays instead of open-water crossings.
Yes. The Finnmaster T9 ST is a stable, spacious boat well-suited to families with children. Life jackets in all sizes are on board. The sheltered interior cabin means children can rest out of the sun. We ask that children under 12 wear life jackets while on deck. These are provided at no charge.
